EOS - Opensource modchip

$79.99

Your Xbox, done properly.

EOS is a from-scratch modchip platform built on the Tang Nano 20K — designed, assembled, and supported here at Darkone Customs. It's not a rehash of an old design. It's a modern FPGA chip with its own dashboard, its own on-screen interface, and a recovery path that means you're never stuck.

Boot what you want, when you want. Store multiple BIOS images on the chip and switch between them from a clean on-screen menu. EOS stages everything into fast onboard memory, so your console gets what it needs the moment it asks — quick, consistent boots every time.

A real dashboard, on your TV. EOS draws its own display straight out over HDMI. No capture card, no extra hardware, nothing to install on your hard drive. Power on and it's there — bank selection, tools, settings, all of it.

Make it yours. Ships with a clean purple look, and takes fully custom themes — your own backgrounds, colors, and audio. You can even author and upload themes from your browser over your home network. No file wrangling required.

Diagnostics built in. XbDiag Lite lives right on the chip in its own bank, so you can boot our hardware diagnostic suite with no hard drive needed. Testing a console that won't boot, checking out a fresh build, or troubleshooting on the bench — it's always there, and EOS adds it to your launch menu automatically.

Genuinely useful tools. EEPROM backup, restore, and repair. Firmware and drive tools. Formatting. A real-time clock so your console keeps proper time. Character LCD output. Built-in FTP and a web interface for moving files from your computer.

You can't brick it. Every EOS ships with our Recovery Suite for Windows. Even if the chip's design is completely wiped, the USB connection stays alive — plug in, click once, and you're back. Flash from your own files or pull the latest straight from our servers.

Always current. Both the chip's gateware and the dashboard update straight from our server, right from the app. One click and you're on the newest release.

Open source. The gateware, firmware, and dashboard are all public on GitHub. Read it, learn from it, build on it.
